Bioethanol, also known as ethyl alcohol or ethanol, is obtained from the alcoholic fermentation of vegetable products and waste. The best results of this chemical process are obtained using a raw material rich in sugars such as:
Crops of products such as beetroots, potatoes, sugar cane, wheat and corn
Agricultural and forestry residues
Temporary and occasional agricultural surpluses
Processing residues from the agriculture and agribusinesses
Household waste
Bioethanol is considered an environmentally friendly fuel: in fact, in combustion, ethyl alcohol burns by combining with oxygen and emits heat, water vapor and just small quantities of carbon dioxide. The latter is then absorbed by the plants with the process of
chlorophyll synthesis and transformed again into oxygen. The use of bioethanol as a fuel, therefore, reduces considerably the
production of carbon dioxide, consequently, also reduces the greenhouse effect. Bioethanol is an ecological fuel.
The use of bioethanol is increasing in many countries around the world in order to reduce dependence on oil.
Bioethanol fireplaces are becoming the most accessible choice for many people who want to combine the elegance of a modern
design with the need for a sustainable heating system, without having excessive costs to build a wood-burning fireplace system and
without having to ask for permits for the construction of the fireplace itself.
Alessandro Romagnoli's Artisan Bio-Fireplace does not need a flue and therefore, as there is no masonry work, in addition to saving money, no special permits should be requested.
You don't need to worry about the space for wood or pellets, you just need a tank of bioethanol. And so you don't even have to worry about disposing of ashes and soot and the constant cleaning of the flue
The bioethanol fireplace is advantageous because it is also eco-sustainable: combustion does not release toxic and malodorous fumes, that is why you do not need to install a flue.
Ventilate the room.
The combustion of bioethanol still develops, even if in small quantities, carbon dioxide. Therefore we advise you to air the room where the fireplace is located.
For Artisan Bio-fireplaces by Alessandro Romagnoli, use only Bioethanol!
Always use pure liquid bioethanol fuel, absolutely do not use other types of fuel such as petrol, zibro, or alcohol. The use of improper fuel may cause fire.
Attention to the quality of Bioethanol!
There is available fuel at definitely low prices but of bad quality, the use of such fuel is not recommended
Alessandro Romagnoli's Artisan Bio-Fireplace can be transported, but with caution!
One of the advantages of the bio-fireplace is that you can move it from one room to another, but before moving it, the burner should be empty, removing the residual fuel.
Bioethanol is a natural, biological and ecological fuel
of vegetable and non-fossil origin which allows us to have a pure, warm and harmonious flame
without producing smoke, soot and without a flue
